Scope by CSI division
In bid packages, concrete shell work falls under CSI Division 03 (Concrete) and structural steel under Division 05 (Metals). Hercon can carry both under one contract.

What is concrete shell construction?
Concrete shell construction is building the concrete structure of a building: foundations, columns and slabs, level by level, so the trades that follow have a complete shell to work in.
What does a structural steel erection contractor do?
A steel erection contractor sets the structural steel in the field: framing, columns, beams and bracing, with welded, bolted and field connections, so the structure is ready for the trades that follow.
